Ken Cowley
Ken Cowley is delighted to be leading Cowley Brown Recruitment, a leading provider of innovative Recruitment and Talent management solutions in the Irish market and overseas. Specialising initially in healthcare recruitment, the company also works in other sectors and offers a range of ‘people-related’ services.
For Ken, nothing beats the excitement of making ‘the perfect match’ between client and candidate, and the fact that in recruitment every day is a new day.
Ken brings to the table over 20 years of relevant business experience, including in recruitment, business-development, company directorship and journalism. Key skills include communications, marketing, PR, leadership and business networking.
Ken has just completed a CIPD qualification in Human Resources, to add to his B.A. and diplomas in Public Relations, Journalism and Train the Trainer.
Syed Zubair Ahmed
Syed Zubair Ahmed has over 14 years of experience, mainly in recruitment and sales as well as substantial experience in business management. Syed focuses on high quality service delivery to clients and candidates, and has a target-smashing track record from the start of his career, together with a strong focus on compliance implementation. Syed is passionate about empowering candidates to achieve their career goals and helping clients to achieve their targeted SLA and quality patient care.
Syed’s educational and CPD accomplishments include a MBA (HRM) a Sales Management Diploma and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Martin Cowley
We have been delighted to avail of the healthcare and wider expertise of Martin Cowley on our own Board, and now also available to us in an Advisory role for clients. Martin is a Chartered Accountant by profession. Until he retired in 2007 he was Chief Executive of the Mater Misericordia University Hospital for 13 years, one of largest and most prestigious hospitals in Ireland. Since his retirement he has concentrated on pro bona work. He is currently Chair of South Dublin Money and Budgeting Service and a member of Dún Laoghaire Rotary Club. He is also a member of an advocacy group seeking improved quality services in nursing homes in Ireland. His other main interests are Bridge and Toastmasters. In regard to Bridge, he founded the Bridge Club in Railway Union Sports Club, of which he had been Chairman. Martin is also a former Chair of the Audit Committee of Leopardstown Park Hospital.
